How are working days counted?
Monday through Friday are working days; Saturday and Sunday are weekend days. Public holidays are not excluded.
Does the calendar breakdown handle months correctly?
Yes. The years/months/days uses real calendar math (not 30.44-day approximation), so month boundaries are exact.
Can the end date be before the start date?
Yes. The result is the absolute difference; a notice is shown when dates are reversed.
Why does the year/month/day breakdown differ from naive subtraction?
Real calendar math accounts for the actual length of each month between the two dates. Subtracting raw days and dividing by an average of 30.44 drifts by several days over long spans. This tool walks the calendar month by month so the year/month/day split is exact.
