Dice Roller
Pick the dice you want, add a modifier and roll. Supports the full D&D set, custom dN dice up to 1000 sides, crit detection on d20 and full session history.
Dice rolls happen in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
How to use this dice roller
- Tap a die — d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20 or d100 — to add it to your roll.
- Add a custom dN or a modifier like +3 or −2 if you need one.
- Click Roll. Each die's value is shown along with the sum total.
- On a d20, natural 1s and 20s are highlighted as crit fail / crit hit.
Frequently asked questions
Are the rolls fair?
Each die uses your browser's cryptographically secure random source with rejection sampling, so every face has exactly the same probability.
How do I roll multiple dice at once, like 2d6?
Tap a die twice — or use + on its counter — to roll two of that type. You can mix any combination, for example 2d6 + 1d20 + a modifier, in a single roll.
Does it support custom dice like d30?
Yes. Use the custom dN field — any number of sides from 2 up to 1000.
Can I add modifiers like +5 or -2?
Yes. The modifier is added to the total of all dice rolled in that round.
Why haven't I rolled a natural 20 in 30 rolls?
A d20 has a 5% chance per roll. The probability of going 30 rolls without seeing a 20 is about 21% — perfectly possible, not unlucky. Over 100 rolls you'd expect around five 20s, but with wide variance (anywhere from 1 to 10 is normal).
