Frequently asked questions
How do weighted picks work?
Add ':number' after a name (e.g. 'Alice:3'). Items with higher weight are more likely to be picked, proportional to their weight.
Can the same name be picked twice?
Only if you check 'Allow the same winner more than once'. By default, winners are unique.
How does team mode split the group?
The list is shuffled, then dealt round-robin into the chosen number of teams — keeping team sizes balanced.
Does 'Alice:3' mean Alice has exactly 3× the chance of winning?
Yes, relative to a default weight of 1. Three people with weights 1, 1, 3 give Alice 60% chance and the others 20% each (3/5 vs 1/5). Add weights to figure exact odds: each entry's chance is its weight divided by the total of all weights.
