Frequently asked questions
Why does the editor look section-based instead of a free canvas like Canva?
Free canvas tools are unusable on phones — they need precise dragging, layer management and zoom. Section-based editors stack vertically, work with one thumb, and produce the same visual outcome for 90% of infographics. Pick a block, fill it in, drag to reorder.
Can I really customize every part?
Yes. Each block has its own content fields plus an Appearance panel — alignment, background color, text color, accent color and padding. Override the theme defaults per block; reset any override with one click.
How do I include my own logo or photo?
Add an Image block. Pick a file from your device — it's converted to a data URL and embedded directly in the SVG. The image never leaves your browser. PNG, JPG and WebP all work; SVG embedding works but doesn't always render in PNG export.
Why does my PNG export sometimes look slightly different from the preview?
Text rendering depends on which system fonts your browser has installed. The SVG uses font stacks (sans, serif, mono, display) — if your device falls back to a different font, line widths shift slightly. For pixel-exact output across devices, embed the SVG instead of exporting PNG.
Where are my drafts stored?
In your browser's localStorage on this device only. Switching browsers, clearing site data, or private/incognito mode loses them. Always Export JSON for backups — you can re-import the file later to continue editing.
